The Power Dynamics NCSS8 is a passive 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker designed for discreet installation in living rooms, verandas, garages, showrooms, cafes and restaurants. It delivers 40W RMS output with a 40Hz–20kHz frequency response and 92dB SPL at 1W/1m.

The 8-ohm speaker requires external amplification and features a Mylar tweeter with a ferrite magnet woofer. Its white magnetic steel grille creates a slim, low-profile finish that blends neatly into the ceiling.

A quick-fit mounting system and swivel clamps simplify installation. After switching off the PA or sound system, connect the speaker using two cables, position it in the ceiling opening and tighten the clamps so the locking tabs secure against the rear surface. Fit the magnetic metal grille to complete the installation.

When installing multiple speakers, maintain matching polarity and ensure the amplifier is not overloaded. Connections are identified with black for negative and red for positive. The ceiling speaker is supplied individually. Other sizes include the NCSS5 5.25-inch model and NCSS6 6.5-inch model.
