Power Dynamics NCSP5 5.25-Inch 100V Low-Profile Ceiling Speaker White

The Power Dynamics NCSP5 is a passive two-way coaxial ceiling speaker designed for 100V distributed audio systems. It combines a 5.25-inch woofer with a 0.5-inch tweeter, delivering 20W RMS output, a frequency response of 70Hz–20kHz and an SPL of 88dB at 1W/1m. Selectable 5W, 10W and 20W power tappings support different system requirements. A suitable 100V amplifier is required.

Its low-profile design features a white, magnetically attached steel grille for a discreet ceiling finish. The quick-fit mounting system uses swivel clamps and locking tabs to secure the speaker, making it suitable for living rooms, verandas, garages, showrooms, cafés and restaurants.

Before installation, switch off the 100V system. Cut a suitable ceiling opening, then connect the speaker to the amplifier's 100V output using two-core cable rated for 100V systems. Observe the identified polarity: red is positive and black is negative. Fit the speaker into the opening, tighten the swivel clamps so the locking tabs engage behind the ceiling, then attach the magnetic grille.

When installing multiple speakers, maintain consistent polarity and ensure their combined load does not overload the amplifier.
