Power Dynamics NCSS5 5.25-Inch 2-Way Low-Profile Ceiling Speaker - White

The Power Dynamics NCSS5 is a passive 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker designed for discreet installation in living rooms, verandas, garages, showrooms, cafes and restaurants. Its 5.25-inch ferrite magnet woofer and 1/2-inch Mylar tweeter deliver Hi-Fi sound across a frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz.

Rated at 20 W RMS with an 8-ohm impedance and 88 dB SPL at 1 W/1 m, the NCSS5 requires connection to a suitable amplifier. A slim, white magnetic steel grille creates a clean, low-profile finish.

Simple installation

The quick-fit mounting system uses swivel clamps and locking tabs to secure the speaker to the rear surface of the ceiling. Before making connections, switch off the PA or sound system. Connect the speaker to the system using two cables, fit it into the ceiling cut-out and tighten the clamps before positioning the magnetic grille.

When installing multiple speakers, maintain consistent polarity and ensure the amplifier is not overloaded. The terminals are colour coded black for negative and red for positive.

The NCSS range also includes the 6.5-inch NCSS6 and 8-inch NCSS8 low-profile 2-way ceiling speakers.
