Power Dynamics NCSS5B 5.25-inch 2-Way Low-Profile Ceiling Speaker Black

The Power Dynamics NCSS5B is a passive 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker designed for discreet installation in living rooms, verandas, garages, showrooms, cafés and restaurants. It combines a 5.25-inch ferrite magnet woofer with a 0.5-inch Mylar tweeter, delivering an RMS power output of 20W and a frequency response of 70Hz–20kHz.

This 8-ohm speaker requires an external amplifier. Its magnetic-fit black steel grille creates a slim, low-profile finish, while the quick-fit swivel clamp system helps simplify ceiling installation.

Installation

Switch off the PA or sound system before making any connections. Cut a suitable opening in the ceiling, connect the speaker to the sound system using two cables, then place it into the opening. Tighten the swivel clamps so the locking tabs secure against the rear ceiling surface, then fit the magnetic metal grille.

When installing multiple NCSS5B speakers, maintain consistent polarity and ensure the amplifier is not overloaded. The terminals are identified as black for negative and red for positive.

This ceiling speaker is also offered in NCSS6B 6.5-inch and NCSS8B 8-inch versions.
