Power Dynamics NCSS6B 6.5-inch 2-Way Low-Profile Ceiling Speaker Black

The Power Dynamics NCSS6B is a passive 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker designed for discreet installation in living rooms, verandas, garages, showrooms, cafés and restaurants. Rated at 30W RMS with an 8-ohm impedance, it requires connection to a suitable amplifier and delivers a frequency response of 50Hz–20kHz with an SPL of 90dB at 1W/1m.

A Mylar tweeter and ferrite-magnet woofer reproduce detailed Hi-Fi audio, while the black magnetic-fit steel grille creates a slim, low-profile finish. The quick-fit design uses swivel clamps and locking tabs to secure the speaker to the rear of the ceiling surface.

Installation

Turn off the PA or sound system before making connections. Cut a suitable opening in the ceiling, connect the speaker to the sound system using two cables, then insert it into the opening. Tighten the swivel clamps so the locking tabs rotate behind the ceiling surface and hold the speaker in place. Fit the black metal grille to complete the installation.

When installing multiple speakers, maintain consistent polarity and ensure the amplifier is not overloaded. The terminals are colour-coded black for negative and red for positive. Plan the required number of speakers before installation.
