Power Dynamics NCSP8B 8-Inch 100V Low-Profile Ceiling Speaker - Black

The Power Dynamics NCSP8B is a passive two-way coaxial ceiling speaker designed for 100V line systems. It combines an 8-inch woofer with a ½-inch tweeter, delivering 40W RMS power, a 40Hz–20kHz frequency response and an SPL of 92dB at 1W/1m. Selectable 10W, 20W and 40W power tappings support a range of installation requirements. A suitable 100V amplifier is required.

A quick-fit mounting system with swivel clamps simplifies ceiling installation. The black magnetic-fit steel grille provides a slim, discreet finish suited to living rooms, verandas, garages, showrooms, cafés and restaurants.

Installation

Switch off the 100V system before making connections. Connect the speaker to the amplifier’s 100V output using a suitable two-core 100V cable, then place it into the ceiling cut-out and tighten the swivel clamps. The locking tabs rotate against the rear of the ceiling surface to secure the speaker. Fit the black metal grille after installation.

When installing multiple speakers, maintain consistent polarity and ensure the amplifier is not overloaded. The connections are identified as black for negative and red for positive.
