The Power Dynamics PMDA4240 is a compact 1U Class-D power amplifier designed for four-zone public address systems. Its four zone outputs have independent volume controls, while switching power technology supports efficient operation with reduced power consumption and heat generation.
When no input signal is detected for one minute, the amplifier automatically enters standby mode to conserve energy. It resumes operation when a signal is detected.
Built-in protection covers short circuits, overloads, high temperatures, clipping and DC faults. The amplifier is suitable for public address installations in banks, town halls, supermarkets, schools, hotels, restaurants, shopping centres and other public spaces.
