Commercial Mixer Amplifier for Paging and Background Music

The Power Dynamics PRM240 is a 240W RMS, six-channel mixer amplifier for paging, announcements, background music and installed commercial audio systems. It supports 100V line and 8-ohm speaker configurations, making it suitable for offices, schools, shops, restaurants, warehouses and other commercial environments.

Integrated Audio Playback

Play music using Bluetooth audio streaming, USB media or an SD card. The built-in MP3 player has an LCD control panel with ID3 tag support, while the supplied remote control provides convenient operation from a distance.

Microphone and Line Connectivity

Multiple microphone and line connections accommodate paging, public announcements, intercom applications, presentations and background audio sources. The amplifier includes two 6.3mm microphone/line inputs, two RCA line inputs, one RCA line output and two XLR microphone inputs. Switchable 24V phantom power supports compatible condenser microphones, while VOX priority assists with announcement management.

Four-Zone Audio Distribution

Four-zone and all-paging modes provide flexible control across commercial audio installations. An emergency mute input is also provided for integration with compatible emergency systems.

Rackmount Installation

The 19-inch, 2U rackmount format fits standard equipment racks. Dedicated bass and treble controls allow straightforward tonal adjustment for different spaces and applications.

Protection and Backup Operation

Protection features include overheat protection, short-circuit protection and a power-on delay. The amplifier can also operate from a 24V emergency battery, which is not supplied.
