Proel WX8A WX Series Active 2-Way Coaxial 8-Inch Stage Monitor

The Proel WX8A is an active two-way coaxial stage monitor designed to deliver clear sound and high output from an ultra-compact enclosure. Its shallow profile minimises the space required on stage, while the integrated recessed handle supports convenient transport.

Coaxial Transducer Design

The coaxial configuration aligns the high- and low-frequency drivers and provides controlled 60° coverage for consistent monitoring. It combines an 8-inch woofer with a 2-inch voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver with a 1-inch voice coil.

Amplification and Processing

A lightweight Class D amplifier module with switch-mode power supply delivers 500 W total power, with a specified continuous amplifier output of 250 W. Analogue processing supports detailed reproduction through the vocal range and resistance to feedback, while a dual limiter circuit helps manage the system output.

Two optimised EQ presets allow the WX8A to be configured for stage monitoring or front-of-house use. Its compact format is suited to speech, vocals and acoustic instruments, including applications where available space is restricted.

Durable, Versatile Cabinet

The MDF enclosure has a black anti-scratch polyurethane finish and reinforced metal grille. A side pole socket also allows the speaker to be used as part of a main sound system.
