Power Dynamics NCBT5B 5.25-Inch Bluetooth Ceiling Speaker Set Black

The Power Dynamics NCBT5B is a complete pair of low-profile, two-way coaxial ceiling speakers designed for Hi-Fi audio. The set combines one active speaker with one passive speaker, powered by a Class-D amplifier delivering 2 x 20W RMS.

Each speaker features a 5.25-inch woofer and 0.5-inch Mylar tweeter, with a frequency response of 100Hz–20kHz and an SPL of 88dB at 1W/1m. A built-in Bluetooth 5.0 receiver enables wireless audio streaming from compatible devices, while a line input provides a wired connection option.

The quick-fit mounting system uses adjustable screws and locking tabs to secure the speakers to the rear of the ceiling surface. Black magnetic steel grilles create a slim, discreet finish suited to living rooms, verandas, garages, showrooms, cafes and restaurants.

Installation and connection

Cut a suitable opening in the ceiling, connect the active speaker to a 12V DC adaptor and link the passive speaker to the active unit using the supplied speaker cable. Position each speaker in its opening and tighten the adjusting screws so the locking tabs swivel into place behind the ceiling. Attach the magnetic metal grilles to complete the installation.

For wireless playback, switch on the active speaker’s Bluetooth function and pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled phone, tablet or other compatible audio device.
