The AVE 4-in, 8-out digital audio processor is designed for live performance, conference, entertainment and installed sound applications. Its TI OMAP-L138 DSP delivers processing capacity of up to 3648 MIPS, supported by 32-bit ADC conversion, 24-bit DAC conversion and a 96 kHz sampling rate.

Each input and output channel provides 16-band parametric EQ, high-pass and low-pass filtering, independent phase adjustment and up to 2000 ms of delay. Filter options include Butterworth, Bessel and Linkwitz-Riley responses, with slopes from 6 to 48 dB per octave. Input channels also provide noise gates and compressors, while the outputs feature brick-wall limiters.

A flexible routing matrix allows inputs to be assigned across the outputs. Channel parameters can be copied or linked for coordinated adjustment, while FIR filter support and Auto EQ functionality assist with system configuration. An integrated signal generator supplies pink noise, white noise, sweep and 20 Hz–20 kHz sine-wave signals.

The front-panel LCD displays scene status, CPU utilisation and IP address information. Dedicated controls provide access to gain, EQ, crossover, compression, limiting and delay settings, with LED level metering across all input and output channels. Ethernet, USB and RS-232 control interfaces support system integration, while 128 scene memories provide configuration recall. Admin and user access levels enable permission management in shared environments.
