The AVE AVE48 is a professional digital audio processor with four inputs and eight outputs, designed for sound reinforcement and installed audio systems. Its TI OMAP-L138 DSP processor provides up to 3648 MIPS and 2746 MFLOPS of processing power, supported by 32-bit DSP processing and a 48kHz sampling rate.
Each input and output channel includes an 11-band parametric EQ, adjustable delay of up to 2000ms and independent high-pass and low-pass filtering. Dynamics tools include input noise gates and compressors, along with brick-wall output limiters for managing output levels.
A free-routing matrix allows any input to be assigned to any combination of outputs. The processor also provides 32 preset scene memories and a built-in signal generator with pink noise, white noise and swept sine signals for system setup and tuning.
Control is available through Ethernet, USB and RS-232 connections. The front panel includes an LCD screen, level indicators and direct-access controls. The processor platform is available in 2-in/4-out, 3-in/6-out and 4-in/8-out configurations, with the AVE48 providing the 4-in/8-out arrangement.
