Vonyx WP16 6.5-Inch Hi-Fi Woofer with Polypropylene Cone

The Vonyx WP16 is a 6.5-inch woofer and mid-woofer designed for DIY speaker builds, hi-fi systems, car audio installations and upgrades to existing sound systems. It combines 100W RMS power handling with an 8-ohm impedance and a frequency range of 38 Hz to 9,000 Hz.

Balanced Cone Performance

Its flat, semi-transparent polypropylene cone offers a balance of low weight and rigidity for controlled movement, clear midrange reproduction and wide, even sound dispersion.

Controlled Bass Response

A double-layer foam suspension permits extended yet controlled cone excursion. Together with a resonance frequency of 45.37 Hz, this design supports defined, impactful low-frequency reproduction.

Heat-Resistant Voice Coil

The 1.5-inch heat-resistant voice coil is designed to dissipate heat efficiently. A 30 oz (850 g) ferrite magnet helps maintain firm control of cone movement during use.

Installation Requirements

The WP16 can be used in 2-way or 3-way systems. Before installation, confirm that the 145 mm mounting diameter, 81 mm mounting depth and overall dimensions of 165 x 165 x 90 mm suit the intended cabinet, enclosure or vehicle location.
