Product details
The Reloop RP-8000 MK2 combines an upper-torque, quartz-driven direct-drive turntable with integrated performance controls for modern DJ workflows. Designed for plug-and-play integration with Serato DJ Pro, its eight large RGB pads provide access to seven performance modes: Cue, Sampler, Saved Loops, Pitch Play, Loop, Loop Roll and Slicer. Two user modes can also be assigned to preferred functions.
Performance and MIDI control
A multi-encoder enables track browsing and deck loading from the turntable. MIDI compatibility also allows the RP-8000 MK2 to communicate with MIDI-compatible DJ software, reducing the need for a separate performance controller. When paired with the Reloop ELITE mixer, pad modes can be controlled independently and simultaneously across compatible devices.
Platter Play mode
Platter Play mode uses the performance pads to control platter pitch for melodic live performances. It provides 22 scales and 34 notes, with space for up to nine user-defined scales. The speed-selection buttons provide pitch bending in semitone steps, while an external MIDI keyboard can also control platter speed.
Pitch and motor adjustment
The high-resolution digital pitch fader supports pitch ranges of ±8%, ±16% and ±50%. Engaging quartz lock maintains zero pitch regardless of the fader position. Starting torque is adjustable from 2.8 to 4.5 kg/cm, while platter stop time can be set between 0.2 and 6 seconds. The precision-machined die-cast aluminium platter incorporates vibration-reducing rubber.
Balanced S-shaped tonearm
The statically balanced S-shaped tonearm features hydraulic lift, anti-skating and a height-adjustable base for vertical tracking angle adjustment. Its low-resonance satin aluminium construction is lightweight and rigid, with a universal SME connection for pick-up cartridge systems.
Reinforced construction and flexible connections
The reinforced chassis combines metal, rubber and moulding compound to help damp vibration, supported by shock-absorbing feet for further isolation. A hard-wearing deep black metallic finish protects the exterior. The recessed rear connection panel supports flight-case installation, while detachable RCA and mains connections simplify transport and replacement. Phono and line outputs allow connection to two mixers simultaneously and make it easier to move between DVS and vinyl setups. A ground terminal is also provided for club and studio installations.
