The Fenton SHFS08B is a powered 8-inch Hi-Fi subwoofer for adding extended low-frequency sound to stereo and home theatre systems. Its integrated amplifier means an external power amplifier is not required, while the dedicated subwoofer allows the main speakers to handle midrange frequencies more efficiently.
A down-firing woofer, bass-reflex enclosure and heavy, low-resonance cabinet deliver deep, controlled bass for music, films, television and gaming. With a frequency response extending from 20 Hz to 200 Hz, it provides the low-frequency foundation that smaller speakers may be unable to reproduce.
The adjustable crossover helps match the subwoofer with bookshelf, floorstanding and home theatre speakers. A selectable 0°/180° phase control assists with bass optimisation across different room layouts, while stereo RCA and speaker-level inputs provide flexible connection options for compatible stereo amplifiers, receivers and AV receivers.
